Doorbell Integration
IC Realtime TV supports IC Realtime video doorbells, giving you a full-screen doorbell experience on your Apple TV.
Incoming Doorbell Ring
When someone presses your doorbell, the app immediately displays a full-screen overlay — no matter what you're currently viewing. The overlay shows:
- Live video feed from the doorbell camera.
- Call timer showing the duration of the ring (MM:SS format).
- Listen In for one-way audio.
- End Call button to dismiss the overlay.
The overlay stays on screen for up to approximately 90 seconds, or until you dismiss it. There's a minimum 5-second display to prevent accidental dismissal.
Configuring Doorbell Alerts
In Settings > Alerts, you can control doorbell behavior:
- Doorbell Overlay — Enable or disable the full-screen ring overlay. When disabled, doorbell events still appear in the Events tab but won't interrupt your current view.
- Doorbell Ringtone — Enable or disable the audible alert sound when a ring is received.
Doorbell Events in History
All doorbell rings are logged in the Events tab with the "Doorbell Ring" event type. You can filter for doorbell events specifically and review recordings associated with each ring.
