Applies to IC Bunker Updated 5 min read

Make the customer an Owner.

Complete the installation before inviting the customer. This ensures the sites and devices are ready when they first sign in.

01

Finish the system build

Confirm that every site, Gateway and camera has been added and that live video is working. An Owner invitation grants access to the sites that exist when it is accepted. Sites added later are not added retroactively.

02

Invite the customer as Owner

Navigate to Manage Organization → Organization Users → Invite New User. Enter the customer's information and turn on the Organization Owner switch.

03

Help the customer accept

Sit with the customer while they create an account using the exact invited email. Have them open the "Welcome to IC Realtime" verification email, verify their account, sign in and select Accept on the invitation card on Home.

Important · Complete before leaving

Customer invitations expire after 24 hours.

Have the customer accept their invitation while you're still on-site. This allows you to confirm that their account works and they can access their Bunker system.

Sign them in and walk the system.

Before leaving, show the customer how to access Bunker and use the features they'll interact with regularly.

01

Sign in on their devices

Help the customer sign in on their phone. Once the IC Bunker mobile app is available in the app stores, install it and sign in with the same account. The app provides live view, events, alerts and pending invitations.

02

Walk through the Bunker experience

Show the customer Home, live view for each camera, saved clips and the Let's finish setting up checklist. Help them create an alert and save their first clip.

Make sure the customer is comfortable with these essential actions.

Account access Customer can sign in with their own email and password.
Live View Customer can view their cameras and confirm video is working.
Events & Clips Customer understands where to find events and saved clips.
First Alert Help the customer create their first alert.
First Saved Clip Show the customer how to save a clip.
Owner Access Confirm the customer has joined as an organization Owner.

Confirm billing and dealer access.

Before completing the handoff, confirm who manages billing and what level of ongoing access your team will retain.

01

Confirm billing information

If the customer is paying, have them open Subscription & Billing, select Update Payment Details and update the payment card and billing email. The subscription belongs to the organization, not the card used during checkout.

02

Agree on ongoing dealer access

As an Owner, you can service the site remotely, add cameras and manage users. If the customer prefers narrower access, they can demote you to a User, leaving you as Admin on each site, or remove you using Remove From Organization.

Important · Permission changes

Agree on access while you're together.

Bunker does not send an email when a user is made an Owner, demoted or removed. Discuss and confirm these permissions directly with the customer before leaving.

Alternative setup

Customer-created organizations work too.

If the customer prefers to create their own organization and invite you as an Owner before the installation, the rest of this Quick Start process remains unchanged.

Remote Support.

Remote Support is separate from dealer access. It allows the customer to grant temporary access to IC Realtime support staff when assistance is needed.

Organization General · Enable Remote Support when assistance from IC Realtime is required.

Enable Remote Support

From the organization's General tab, the customer can grant IC Realtime support staff temporary Owner access for 15 minutes or 1 hour.

End Remote Support

The customer can end support access early at any time. Access also ends automatically shortly after the selected window closes.

Important distinction

Remote Support is for IC Realtime staff.

Dealers use their assigned organization or site permissions for ongoing service. Remote Support does not replace or control dealer access.

✓

Bunker is ready. Handoff complete.

The customer has access to their system, understands the essentials and knows who to contact for ongoing service. Your installation is complete.
