Register the Gateway.

Registration connects the physical Gateway to the customer site. Make sure it has been powered on for at least five minutes before beginning.

01

Open the Gateway setup wizard

From the customer site, navigate to Gateways → Add New → Get Started.

Add New Gateway wizard showing the Get Started step

Add New Gateway · Select Get Started to begin the registration process.
02

Enter the Gateway serial number

Select Enter Serial Number and type the serial number printed on the label on the bottom of the Gateway. Continue to begin registration.

Add Gateway wizard showing the Enter Serial Number step

Enter Serial Number · Use the serial number from the label on the Gateway.
03

Wait for Gateway confirmation

Bunker displays Discovery in Progress, followed by Confirming Your Gateway. Remain on the screen while registration completes.

90 Sec Max

Stay on the screen during registration.

Registration is a timed handshake between the Bunker app and the Gateway and can take up to approximately 90 seconds. You do not need to press any buttons on the physical Gateway during confirmation.

04

Name the Gateway and finish

On Enter Gateway Name, provide a name for the Gateway. If left blank, the default name is Gateway. Complete the wizard to see Gateway Added!

Important · Gateway ownership

One Gateway can belong to only one site.

If the serial number is already registered to another site, registration will fail. Moving a Gateway requires removing it from its current site first, and a removed Gateway must be returned to IC Realtime before it can be registered again. Contact IC Realtime Support before removing any Gateway you intend to reuse.

Add your cameras.

Once the Gateway is registered, use Bunker to discover cameras on the local network and connect their video streams.

01

Search for available cameras

Select Search For Available Cameras. The Gateway searches the local network and lists the cameras it finds by IP address and camera type. Each camera has an Add button.

02

Add each camera

Select Add beside a camera and enter its Camera Name, Camera Username and Camera Password. Use the camera's ONVIF admin credentials. The Gateway signs in and sets up the video stream.

03

Verify live video

Open the site's Live View and confirm that each added camera is streaming successfully.

Camera discovery requirements

Keep the cameras on the same network segment.

Cameras must be on the same network segment as the Gateway to be discovered. A Gateway supports up to 10 cameras. If a camera is discovered but cannot be added, or appears Offline after being added, refer to Troubleshooting.

Gateway registered. Cameras streaming.

Once the Gateway has been added and you've verified each camera in Live View, the system is ready for the next step: inviting your installation team.
