Connecting to Wi-Fi
This section walks through the process of connecting the Dinger Doorstation to a wireless network. The device must first be initialized and accessed over Ethernet before Wi-Fi can be configured. Once connected, the doorbell can operate without a wired network connection.
Connect and Initialize

Troubleshooting
In some cases, the doorbell may fail to connect to Wi-Fi if the WLAN and LAN interfaces are on the same network segment. When this happens, the device may return an error or fail to complete the connection.
If this occurs, follow the steps below.
Move the LAN Interface to a Different Network
Log in to the device web interface.
Go to Network Settings → TCP/IP.
Set NIC to LAN.
Turn DHCP OFF.
Assign a static IP on an unused network range, for example:
IP Address: 192.168.99.32
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.99.1
Click Apply
Reconnect to Wi-Fi
After the LAN interface is on a different network, refresh the page and confirm that WLAN is listed as the default card.
Confirm that WLAN is now listed as the default network interface.
Verify the status shows Connected within the Wi-Fi menu
Attempt to log into the IPMX-DB20-IRW1 by typing in the WLAN IP address
Important Notes
These devices support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. 5 GHz networks are not compatible.
Ensure adequate signal strength at the installation location.
Ensure correct power is being applied. These devices use 12–33 VDC, 1A power which is less common than AC doorbells.
