Adding IC Realtime Cameras to Crestron Home
1. Navigate to the Pair Devices screen and select a room. Then under the 'Device Types' menu, select Other>Cameras.
2. The system will scan and list the cameras. Select one and hit the + symbol. A dialog box will appear stating the camera must have a static IP address. To configure a static IP click here.
3. In the next window enter a descriptive name for the device along with its login credentials. Tap OK and the camera will be added to the room.
Adding IC Realtime Cameras with RTSP
Adding a camera with RTSP is similar to the previous process but instead of choosing the camera from the IP list, you'll choose Manual Camera. Fill out the following:
| Field name | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Please enter a descriptive name for Manual Camera | How the camera is referred to in Crestron Home |
| Snapshot URI* | Camera snapshot URI. See this link |
| Stream URI* | Camera RTSP URI. See this link |
| User Name | Camera username. Recommended to create an account and not use admin |
| Password | Camera password. |
Note: If using ONVIF accounts, you will need to specify the URI's as ONVIF. The following commands can be used (replace the IP address with the camera's IP):
Snapshot
http://192.168.1.108/onvif/snapshot?channel=1&subtype=0
RTSP
rtsp://192.168.1.108/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=Onvif
