The Orb Outdoor is equipped with visible white light LED as well as IR (Infrared) LEDs for low-light illumination.
You can configure these settings under Device Details > Night Vision Setting. You can select from:
Smart Night Vision: When the environment becomes dark enough, the camera will utilize IR for illumination and then switch on visible LEDs if motion is detected.
Infrared Night Vision: When the environment becomes dark enough, the camera will automatically turn on IR for illumination only.
Bright Color Night Vision: When the environment becomes dark enough, the camera will utilize IR for illumination only.
Spotlight off Night Vision: The camera will not turn on any illumination and instead rely on environmental lighting.
