Which devices will function offline without an internet connection?
For users concerned about data privacy, cloud-dependent services, or maintaining a fully air-gapped environment, some devices are designed to function locally without requiring an active internet connection. This allows users to retain full control over their data and avoid reliance on third-party cloud platforms.
Some devices require the account system for setup and this requires an internet connection in order to enroll the devices into an account created within the IC View Pro app. Once the device has been registered to an account, it can be used offline by adding it to an NVR or HDVR but some app features will be lost.
The following devices require the account system in the IC View Pro app during setup:
