Introduction

The Dinger Doorstation supports remote lock control through either Josh.AI integration or the IC View Pro mobile application. It is compatible with two types of door locks: electric door strikes, which are the most commonly used, and electromagnetic locks. Wiring requirements vary depending on the lock type selected.

Electric Strike Wiring

The method used to power the lock is at your discretion; however, for the example below, an IC Realtime POWER-JACK is used to avoid cutting wires, which could potentially void the warranty on the electric strike or power supply.

01. Connect the Dinger Doorstation's green wire (Door NO) to the negative lead (typically black) of your power supply.

02. Connect the Dinger Doorstation's orange wire (Door COM) to the negative lead (typically black) to your electric door strike

03. Connect to the positive lead (typically red) from your power supply to the positive lead (typically red) of your electric door strike.

Electromagnetic Lock Wiring

Once again, the method used to power the lock is at your discretion.

01. Connect the Dinger Doorstation's purple wire (Door NC) to the negative lead (typically black) of your electromagnetic lock.

02. Connect the Dinger Doorstation's orange wire (Door COM) to the negative lead (typically black) to your power supply.

03. Connect to the positive lead (typically red) from your power supply to the positive lead (typically red) of your electromagnetic lock.
