Backup/Restore System Configuration

Introduction

  • When doing a system backup or restore you must make sure that you are using the same exact model of recorder with the same exact firmware version. Failing to do so may cause the restore to fail. For example, you cannot use a saved configuration from one model of a recorder to a different one.

Backing Up System Configuration

  • Click the export button and it will download a ".backup" file. This is your system configuration file.
    • If accessing the local unit, it will download to a USB, if on a web UI, it will download to the local PC.

 

Restoring System Configuration

  • Click the browse button

  • Select your ".backup" file (from USB or PC) and click open

  • Select Import
